I’ve called London my second home since the summer of 2022. But my love affair with this city started when I got asked to cover London Fashion Week in 2016 while I was working as a fashion editor at HarpersBazaar.com. I wasn’t thrilled about the request at first, but after my first season in London, I was hooked. I loved the city's energy, the fashion, and all the people I got to know. So, when I left my job in 2020, there was no doubt in my mind that I needed to spend more time here.

It really felt like the universe conspired to get me here four years ago—and while living between here and New York isn’t always easy—I really feel at home here. I have a place that feels like mine (even if it doesn’t necessarily look like mine), I have my favorite coffee place, my dry cleaners, my neighbors know me, and I have all my go-to places to eat, for self-care, my date spots, etc.

Here’s what my perfect day in London looks like:

Morning: I’d start with pilates at Heartcore, then walk home through Hyde Park before grabbing breakfast at Boxcar. I love the avocado toast there, but I’d also get a cinnamon bun to go. It’s such a nice spot to sit outside, journal, and people-watch. From there, I’d head to Daunt Books to pick up a book, then park myself in Paddington Street Gardens to read for a little.
